Dave Audio is a small workshop just outside Montréal, Quebec. The gear is analog from input to output. Transformers, discrete circuits, nothing digital in the path. Not because old is better, but because for bass, the physics still wins. Amps, preamps, levelling tools, effects, built in small batches and voiced for the stage and the studio. Made to outlive whatever you plug them into.

Meet the founder:
Dave started in the orchestral world and then spent decades in the trenches of Canadian music. He played the club circuits in Vancouver, Kitchener-Waterloo and Toronto, wrote and recorded with artists across the country, and eventually landed in the Montreal scene, where the gear habit got serious. Years on stages and in studios turned tone into an obsession: knowing every link in the signal path, what each one adds, and what it takes away. So he started building his own. Every circuit is his design. Every unit gets tested on his own basses before it ships. If it’s not right, it stays on the bench.
